1. Who we are and agreement
Kamailio Support is a trading name of JMB Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15525231) with its registered office at 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. In these terms, "Kamailio Support", "we", "our" and "us" mean that company, trading as Kamailio Support.
By using this website, or engaging us for a service, you agree to these terms. If you engage us for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. Our services
We provide consultancy, implementation and support for Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, SIP and VoIP, AI voice platforms, security, automation, Linux, cloud and database systems. The scope of each engagement is agreed with you in writing, by email or a signed agreement.
Work is charged by the hour at the rates on our pricing page, or as quoted. Emergency troubleshooting is charged at the emergency rate. Support contracts are priced on application. Taxes may apply. Any response time or service level applies only if it is set out in a signed agreement.
3. Working on your systems
You're responsible for:
- having the authority to give us access to the systems and data involved;
- keeping current backups and approving changes through your own change control;
- giving us accurate information and promptly removing access we no longer need; and
- having a lawful basis for any personal data you ask us to work with.
We'll work within the agreed scope and tell you before making changes with a risk of disruption. We may decline or stop work that would be unlawful or unsafe, including anything that would enable fraud, caller ID spoofing or unauthorised access. We treat your information as confidential and will sign your NDA.
4. Guides, blog posts and examples
Our troubleshooting guides, blog posts and configuration examples are general information, not advice for your specific platform. Software versions and environments differ, so test any change on a non-production system first. We work to keep this content accurate but don't promise it is complete or current, and you're responsible for changes you make to your own systems.
5. Using this website and posting comments
You must not use this website to send spam or unlawful, abusive or misleading content, to upload malicious code, or to attack, probe or overload the site. Blog comments are moderated, and we may decline or remove any comment. Please don't post passwords, IP addresses or other private details from your platform.
6. AI systems we build
AI and speech systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, delayed or unexpected results. When we build one for you, you decide what it's used for and remain responsible for telling callers when the law requires it, getting any consent you need, reviewing sensitive workflows and making sure connected actions don't go beyond what you intend. Don't rely on an AI response as professional, legal, medical, financial, emergency or safety-critical advice. See AI transparency for how we approach this.
7. Intellectual property and open source
We and our licensors own the content of this website. Ownership of work we produce for you is set out in your quote or agreement. Open-source software such as Kamailio, FreeSWITCH and rtpengine stays under its own licence, which applies to you and to us.
8. Third parties and availability
Telecoms and cloud services depend on carriers, internet routes, providers and equipment outside our control, and on planned maintenance. We're not responsible for failures of third-party services.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to any signed agreement, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings. Liability caps agreed in a signed agreement take priority.
10. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
